📄 Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MyHousehold application and related services ("the Service") operated by MARTINSIQ ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using MyHousehold, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
✅ Eligibility
To use MyHousehold, you must:
- Be at least 13 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent.
- Provide accurate information when creating your account.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
MyHousehold is designed for family use. Parents and guardians are responsible for managing household accounts and supervising minors.
🏠 Your Account
When you create a household account, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
You may authenticate using a username/password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. Each authentication method creates or links to a single household account.
🎮 Acceptable Use
You agree to use MyHousehold in a manner that is respectful, fair, and in the spirit of family-friendly competition. You agree not to:
- Use offensive, abusive, or inappropriate household or member names.
- Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities to gain unfair advantages.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorization.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
🏆 Gameplay & Leaderboards
MyHousehold features competitive multiplayer games with an Elo-based ranking system. By participating:
- You accept that game outcomes (wins, losses, draws) affect your public leaderboard ranking.
- Rankings and scores are visible to other users on the leaderboard.
- We reserve the right to reset scores, modify ranking algorithms, or adjust game rules at any time.
- We may remove or penalize accounts found to be manipulating game outcomes.
🏡 Household Management Features
MyHousehold provides tools for household coordination. By using these features, you agree that:
- Shared Data — Grocery lists, chore assignments, calendar events, meal plans, expenses, inventory, and vacation plans are visible to all household members.
- AI Suggestions — The AI Assistant provides automated recommendations. These are suggestions only and should not be relied upon as professional advice.
- Expense Tracking — Financial data entered is for household coordination only. We do not provide accounting, tax, or financial advisory services.
- Data Accuracy — You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter. We are not liable for decisions made based on household data.
📺 Multi-Device Experience
MyHousehold supports use across iOS devices, Apple Watch, Home Screen widgets, Samsung/Smart TVs, and web browsers. By using these platforms:
- You acknowledge that all platforms connect to our servers via the internet.
- Game sessions may be cast from mobile devices to the TV for a shared viewing experience.
- The Apple Watch and widget display summary data synced from the main app.
- The web dashboard provides read and management access to all household features.
- All platforms require an active internet connection to fully function.
⚖️ Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, code, and trademarks associated with MyHousehold are the property of MARTINSIQ and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- MyHousehold™ is a trademark of MARTINSIQ
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without written permission.
- User-created content (household names, member names) remains your property, but you grant us a license to display it within the Service.
🔄 Service Availability
We strive to keep MyHousehold available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:
- Perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
- Remove or restrict access to accounts that violate these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
🚪 Termination
You may stop using MyHousehold and delete your account at any time through the app's Settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You violate these Terms of Service.
- Your conduct negatively impacts other users or the Service.
- We are required to do so by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.
📏 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MARTINSIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).
🌍 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
📝 Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by updating this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
